Senior Embedded Software Engineer - (Bionet Medical)

Bionet Sonar is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer for our Burlington, MA office. The candidate will help develop embedded systems to support the launch of a new generation of smart and miniaturized IoT devices. Compensation is competitive based on qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience
3+ year of relevant work experience.

Technical Hardware

Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analyzes.
Experience with microprocessor design and applications.
Experience with multi-layer PCB design desired.

Technical Software

Strong programming experience in C, C++, C#.
Disciplined and structured coding techniques.
Strong experience with real-time / embedded processes.
Experience with VHDL/Verilog and FPGAs desired.
Experience with protocols (AXI, SPI, TCP/IP) desired.

Technical Organizational

Strong troubleshooting skills for both software and hardware.
Strong Leadership skills, ability to provide technical leadership in multiple areas of product/prototype development.

Experienced Prototyping Requirements and Writing Specifications

Ability to prepare technical reports describing the developments and prototype/product specifications.
Ability to derive and implement strong testing protocols.
